Torino defender Marco Motta, who is also co-owned by Udinese, could be re-united with his former mentor Delio Rossi at Lazio next season as rumours are circulating that Rome will be his next destination.
Motta is one of the players on the shortlist of president Claudio Lotito and the possibility of the defender joining the Biancocelesti is quite high, due to his rapport with Rossi, as his agent, Antonio Dell’Aglio confirmed.
"Marco found himself well with Delio Rossi during his Atalanta days, but Lazio never contacted us," explained the agent.
"Surely, Rome is an important location and Marco is a player of a certain level.
"Therefore, it's normal that there were some rumours on my client and the Biancocelesti. However, I must say that I never had any contacts with the Lazio directors," concluded Dell'Aglio.
Motta is currently on Italy Under-21 duty, and will play in the final of the Toulon Tournament tonight against Chile.
