Andrea Pirlo believes that Chievo’s Roberto Baronio could become his ‘substitute’ at Milan next season.
The Rossoneri have openly admitted that Pirlo is irreplaceable in the side right now and the outfit will look to remedy that problem in the summer.
Although a number of players have been linked, Baronio’s name is being continually associated with a switch.
"I know him very well because we grew up together at Brescia," stated the Italian international.
"We also played alongside each other for the Under-21s. He has great vision and is a really good player.
"He is like a brother to me and we often speak. It would be ideal to have him by my side even if that isn’t up to me to decide."
baronio was named top young player of year 2000 succeeded of the likes of pirlo , totti , de rossi gilardino and other highly rated players
